Diversified consumables and hardware supplier Quality Print Services (QPS) will feature a range of ColorJet and Roland DG machinery on Stand P500 at The Print Show this year, with the intention of connecting with visitors across both the print and sign-making markets. Established in 1997, QPS began life as a distributor for Lyson Inks, which was later taken over by Nazdar. Now, QPS is the main UK distributor for Nazdar and an authorised reseller for Roland DG UK, as well as other branded hardware. Among the other brands available through QPS is ColorJet, with its machines to take centre stage at this September’s show. Visitors can view four ColorJet UV printers on the QPS stand in Hall 3 of the NEC, ranging from flatbed to smaller-format solutions. The largest machine comes in the form of the Verve 2513R, which can run speeds of up to 91sq m/hr and produce print at a maximum resolution of 1200dpi. Also on display on Stand P500 will be the Vulcan 2001R, which boasts a top speed of 73sq m/hr and runs Ricoh Gen 6 printhead. Other highlights on the QPS stand include the Vulcan 3202R, which, like its sister model, can print at a maximum speed of 73sq m/hr and uses the same printheads. It also has a top print resolution of 2400dpi. The final ColorJet machine that will be shown at The Print Show is the Verve Mini, a small-format LED UV curing flatbed printer with a bed size of 1,050mm x 1,650mm. Visitors will also be able to find out more about Roland TrueVIS technology, with QPS set to show several models throughout the event. In addition, QPS will demonstrate its QUV UV-DTF printers, which are available in the QUV-30 and QUV-60 models. “The Print Show has proved to be a good shop window and allows us to exhibit our products and services to an interested audience that is looking for solutions,” comments Chris Bailey, managing director of QPS, adding: “The event offers the perfect opportunity to see a range of solutions from some of the industries established suppliers.” Quality Print Services set for wide-format showcase The Print Show has announced that insurance specialist, Howden, will sponsor The Knowledge Zone speaker at this year’s event. While Howden will be exhibiting on its own stand at The Print Show, sponsoring The Knowledge Zone – a hugely popular feature at the event – will maximise its presence and help spread awareness of its services. “The Knowledge Zone is in place at the show to provide education, awareness, and insight to visitors,” says Luke Wildey, development executive at Howden, adding: “This aligns with our goals here at Howden to provide a clear, transparent service while ensuring our clients are correctly protected for the activities they undertake. “Despite our experience in the industry, every day is an education, regardless of how much we know or experience we’ve gained. Through collaboration with those in the industry, shared experiences and conversations, we can all learn, grow, and push forward.” Howden will also feature on the 2025 speaker programme, with Wildey to join Mark Stephenson from Fujifilm; Colin Sinclar McDermott, the Online Print Coach; and David Bunker from Compass Business Finance for a discussion on some of the auxiliary services and solutions that can support print companies.
