Established in 1997, QPS began life as a distributor for Lyson Inks, which was later taken over by Nazdar. Now, QPS is the main UK distributor for Nazdar and an authorised reseller for Roland DG UK, while also supplying various other hardware. Among the other brands available through QPS is ColorJet, with its machines to take centre stage at this September’s show. Visitors can view four ColorJet UV printers on the QPS stand in Hall 3 of the NEC, ranging from flatbed to smaller-format solutions. The largest machine comes in the form of the Verve 2513R, which can run speeds of up to 91sq m/hr and produce print at a maximum resolution of 1200dpi. Also on display on Stand P500 will be the Vulcan 2001R, which boasts a top speed of 73sq m/hr and runs the Ricoh Gen 6 printhead. Other highlights on the QPS stand include the Vulcan 3202R, which, like its sister model, can print at a maximum speed of 73sq m/hr and uses the same printheads. The final ColorJet machine that will be shown at The Print Show is the Verve Mini, a small-format LED UV curing flatbed printer with a bed size of 1,050mm x 1,650mm. Visitors will also be able to find out more about Roland TrueVIS technology, with QPS set to show several models throughout the event. In addition, QPS will demonstrate its QUV UV-DTF printers, which are available in the QUV-30 and QUV-60 models. “The Print Show has proved to be a good shop window and allows us to exhibit our products and services to an interested audience that is looking for solutions,” comments Chris Bailey, managing director of QPS, adding: “The event offers the perfect opportunity to see a range of solutions from some of the industries established suppliers.” Quality Print Services set for wide-format showcase QPS will feature a range of machines on its stand including the Verve 2513R Dorotape has announced it will display a range of new materials at The Sign Show this year, with the aim of inspiring visitors and demonstrating how it can support them across a range of projects. Based on Stand S122 near the front of the hall, Dorotape will showcase various materials on its stand. Dorotape specialises in self-adhesive films, serving as a UK distributor for leading global brands including ASLAN, PoliTape, Fedrigoni (Ritrama), Nekoosa (R-Tape), Neschen, Kernow, and Coverstyl. At The Sign Show, visitors will have the opportunity to learn about ASLAN SE74 Holostripe, Kernow Metaliks, Glass Apeel, and Floor Appeal, some of the latest options from Dorotape. All products in this range are PVCfree and, according to director Michael Ingram, will help “spark new ideas”. “With fresh materials landing in Q3, The Sign Show is the perfect place to introduce them,” he says, adding: “The Sign Show is shaping up to be the only UK event focused entirely on display and signage, with plenty of new tech and inspiration. “Like many, we’ve felt that sign exhibitions have lost their direction in recent years, which is why we’ve focused on smaller, niche events,” Ingram explains, continuing: “But when Chris Davies (event director) explained his vision for The Sign Show, it just clicked. It feels like the right moment to return and put our creative materials back in the spotlight. “We’re bringing colour, impact, and plenty of wow factor. Expect eye-catching metallised and dichroic self-adhesive films, along with standout digital print media for windows, walls, and floors. Our stand is all about materials that make an impression.” Dorotape to spark ideas with new launches Dorotape will feature on Stand S122 By Rob Fletcher By Rob Fletcher 28 email: editor@signlink.co.uk Issue 260 - August / September 2025
