SignLink June/July 2025 - Issue 259

21 www.signlink.co.uk June / July 2025 - Issue 259 With just a few months until The Sign Show 2025 opens its doors, some exhibitors are offering a sneak peek into what visitors can expect at this year’s inaugural event. China Print Supplies was one of the first companies to sign up to exhibit, with the aim of building on an extremely successful debut at sister event, The Print Show, last year. At The Print Show 2024, China Print Supplies was able to connect with a range of visitors, showcasing how its solutions can help their businesses diversify and grow. In total, China Print Supplies took orders for six machines from five companies. “It’s usually a bit difficult to say exactly where sales and leads came from with marketing on multiple platforms,” managing director, Scott Clutton explains, adding: “However, as we are a new company and nobody had seen us before, we can confidently say we have sold six units to five customers as a direct result of coming to The Print Show.” “We know we have to get our products in front of people so they can see the quality for themselves and see what we see in the products,” says Clutton. “Having exhibited before with other companies, I knew how good the show was for just this purpose.” Like anyone who exhibits this year, China Print Supplies will benefit from a wider range of visitors than ever. The company will be based in The Sign Show for the 2025, though visitors to both events will have the opportunity to speak with the team and learn more about its wide range of print solutions. With this in mind, the company has opted for a much larger stand, with this year’s covering an area around three times the size of the 2024 stand. “Highlights include our FB-0906s 900 x 600mm compact flatbed and FB-2513s UV flatbed,” adds Clutton. “We’ll also be showing the new UP 3-in-1 Simultaneous Double-Sided Printer from Hapond.” China Print Supplies targets more success in September By Rob Fletcher The Sign Show has announced that it will be working with FESPA UK and its Next Generation Committee at this inaugural show this year to help champion opportunities for young people in the industry. The Next Generation Committee will have its own stand at the event, with its members from across the market in attendance throughout the show to discuss with visitors not only the work the Next Generation is currently doing, but also how the initiative has helped them in their own careers. Launched in 2023, the Next Generation seeks to address the need for succession planning in print, graphics and signage. Its primary focus is on this skills gap, offering a structured space for emerging professionals to develop personally and professionally. The Next Generation Committee works with FESPA UK to help give a voice to the younger generation. This has led to the creation of various events and initiatives, all of which are tailored towards younger people and showcasing the opportunities available to them within the industry. Along with running their own stand throughout the show, the Next Generation Committee will also be hosting a special session at the Knowledge Zone, the speaking venue at the co-located The Print Show. Current and existing members of the FESPA UK Next Generation will come together to talk about the project’s recent achievements, its current activities and its next steps to help to develop and nurture the next generation of print, graphics and signage professionals. The session will take place at 1pm on 23rd September, the opening day of both The Print Show and The Sign Show. For those who cannot attend the Tuesday session, they can catch up with the Committee on Stand S432, opposite the School of Wrap – an area that is also being supported by FESPA UK and its Waste Accreditation scheme.
