SUPPLIER SPOTLIGHT | VENTURE BANNERS 31 www.signlink.co.uk Issue 267 - October | November 2026 Finishing is handled by our Zünd cutting machines, and our growing team of sewing machinists. What are your company values? We built Venture Banners to enable everyone from print businesses and print managers to agencies and resellers to build scalable, profitable businesses without the need for significant investment in equipment and space. Because of this, we place a lot of emphasis on the word ‘partner’ when we describe ourselves. Our company ethos is, and always has been, centred around providing high-quality large-format print, excellent service and support, useful additional resources, and clear, transparent pricing. Ultimately, we want to take the complexity out of ordering large-format print and make it easier for our customers to grow their business. How has the company grown since it was founded? Venture Banners has grown significantly since those early days working from an office in my garage. By November 2009, we had grown the team and moved into an office in Chelmsford, later moving into a 7,500sq ft warehouse in Witham. In 2015, we moved into the 21,000sq ft factory unit in Braintree that we still operate from today with millions of pounds’ worth of equipment and an excellent team behind us. Fabric Mesh Premium, a next-generation mesh suitable for a wide range of outdoor applications. It has proven so popular with customers that we have now completely phased out PVC Mesh. What’s your favourite thing about the print and signage industries? For me, it’s seeing just how much can be achieved with print and the huge variety of applications we get to produce. One day it might be graphics for an exhibition stand and the next it could be flags and banners for a major event. But what makes me really proud is that 17 years on, we’re still achieving what we originally set out to do – make large-format print more accessible to businesses without the need for them to invest in equipment, space, and production capabilities. Working with customers to expand what they can offer and enabling them to say “yes” to opportunities they might otherwise have had to turn away is incredibly rewarding. How can your products or services help customers? Our services enable customers to expand the range of large-format print they can offer without having to invest in additional equipment, premises, or resources themselves. This gives them the flexibility to take on work they wouldn’t have been able to do before, whether that’s a product they don’t produce in-house, a one-off job, or additional work when their own production is at capacity. We also aim to make outsourcing as straightforward as possible. From our broad product range and plain-label delivery to artwork support, online pricing tools and resources, everything is designed to make it easier for customers to quote, order, and deliver large-format print to their own clients. How is the company keeping up with modern trends? For us, keeping up with modern trends is about listening to what our customers are asking for and making sure our capabilities evolve alongside their needs. The large-format print market is constantly changing, whether that’s demand for different materials and applications, shorter turnaround times, or a simpler way to order and manage print. Alongside developing our product range, we continue to invest in our production capabilities and resources that make it easier for customers to order large-format print. Our focus remains firmly on helping them to make the most of the lucrative opportunities within the large-format print market. 2009: The business was founded by Wayne Bodimeade and Scott Conway 2012: Venture Banners invested in its first VUTEk GS3250r 176: In 2018, the company covered its production roof with 176 solar panels which generate around a quarter of its electricity usage 21,000sq ft: The size of the company's factory based in Braintree Statistics ► [L to R] Wayne Bodimeade and Scott Conway, founders of Venture Banners Textile is one area where we have seen considerable growth, particularly over the past 18 months, and we have expanded our product range to reflect this.
