Unveiled on day one of the event last year, the digital die-cutting and finishing solution integrates raised spot UV, cutting, creasing, and taping. This, Vivid says, gives customers a seamless workflow enabling users to produce “unique, intricate, and premium products” in just one pass. “Built on the same trusted engineering principles as the VeloBlade, Razar combines intelligent automation, precision performance, and advanced capability to deliver stunning tactile and visual finishes,” comments Vivid’s commercial director, Lewis Evans. “Visitors will have the opportunity to discover how Razar can help unlock new opportunities in the high-value print production industry. We will demonstrate how print businesses can add value, increase efficiency, and unlock new revenue opportunities with the solution.” Swiss Army Knife Almost one year on from the launch, Vivid recently completed the first Razar installation, with Bally Print in Northern Ireland taking delivery of its new machine in June. Those also considering investing in the solution can see it in action on Vivid’s stand at The Print Show this autumn. Speaking about the purchase, Aaron Klewchuk, director at Bally Print, describes the Razar as the “Swiss Army knife” of print finishing, adding that it will be “massive” for the company. Evans adds: “By bringing multiple processes together, we’re helping print businesses work faster, reduce handling, and unlock more creative applications. Partnering with Bally Print for this first installation was a natural fit. This first installation signals a significant step forward in print production, positioning both Vivid and Bally Print at the forefront of evolving print technology.” Aside from the Razar, Vivid will demonstrate other technologies from across its portfolio, with the aim of showcasing how its machines can help printers enhance their product offerings, improve productivity, and meet growing demand for premium print applications. “Visitors can experience live demonstrations, speak with industry experts, and discover practical solutions tailored to the evolving needs of the print sector,” Evans says. On this, he says The Prit Show – and the co-located The Sign Show – should be regarded as must-attend events for anyone involved with printing or sign-making. “The Print Show 2026 is a must-attend event for anyone looking to stay ahead in the rapidly evolving print industry,” he says, adding: “Visitors will have the opportunity to visit the Vivid stand to see the latest finishing solutions in action, gain valuable insights from industry experts, and connect directly with one of the print industry’s leading manufacturers. “Whether you’re looking to improve efficiency, expand your service offering, explore new revenue opportunities, or invest in the future of your business, The Print Show provides a unique platform to discover practical solutions and build valuable industry relationships all under one roof.” Vivid Laminating Technologies makes the cut with new Razar By Rob Fletcher Vivid Laminating Technologies will be based on stand P460 at the show Vivid launched its Razar finishing solution at The Print Show 2025 | NEWS
