37 www.printmonthly.co.uk September | October 2026 - Issue 362 HP reveals far-reaching tech lineup for 2026 HP will exhibit at The Sign Show – co-located with The Print Show – for the second year in a row this autumn, with the manufacturer set to use its stand space to the fullest by showing no less than five machines. As was the case last year, HP will focus on its large-format print offering, with machines from both its HP Latex and HP DesignJet range to be demonstrated at the event. Visitors will be invited to learn more about its latest innovations and how these products can help those in both the print and signage markets grow and succeed. Among the highlights on the HP stand will be the HP Latex 830W, which, launched to the market in May 2025, has a top speed of 36sq m/ hr in outdoor mode and can print on a host of materials up to 1.63m wide. The machine runs the coveted white ink option, allowing users to create eye-catching effects on a wider range of substrates and applications. Also on show will be the HP Latex 630W printer, which also has a white ink option. The machine can print at speeds of up to 14sq m/hr in standard, six-pass mode, with users able to print on materials up to 1.63m wide. This, HP says, opens up a wide range of application opportunities such as window graphics, vehicle graphics, retail décor and wallcoverings. Visitors will also have the opportunity to view the HP Latex R530, the only compact all-in-one rigid and flexible HP Latex printer, key features include a top speed of 24sq m/hr in indoor mode and the ability to print on media up to 1.6m wide and 5cm thick. The final solution from the HP Latex range on display at The Sign Show this year will be the HP Latex FS60 print, which has a top printing speeds of up to 89sq m/hr, with HP saying this boosts productivity and cost-effectiveness with its modular and scalable design. Aside from HP Latex, visitors to the HP stand can view the HP DesignJet Z9+. The machine has a top print speed of 71sq m/hr on plain media and is available in widths of 61cm and 112cm, making it even easier for print service providers to integrate the printer into their existing production setup. HP’s presence at The Sign Show and The Print Show will not be limited to hardware, with plans to showcase its HP PrintOS Production Hub. A section of the stand will be dedicated to the cloud-based production management tool, with attendees able to learn about how it can be used to manage jobs, monitor production, and track the performance of their print operation from a central platform. Graphtec makes an impact with Mutoh Graphtec, a leading manufacturer and supplier of imaging products, will exhibit off one of the larger stands at The Sign Show – co-located with The Print Show – with visitors able to view a range of printing technology including Mutoh machinery. The UK’s official Mutoh distributor, the exhibition will be the only opportunity this year for visitors to see Mutoh printers on display at a large-scale, national event. Graphtec will be located on Stand S245, at the heart of the event. Graphtec provides solvent and UV printers from Mutoh, with visitors able to learn about both these ranges at the show. “Mutoh’s large-format solvent printers are renowned in the printing industry for their reliability, precision, and versatility,” Graphtec says, adding: “These high-performance devices are designed to handle a wide variety of materials, including vinyl, canvas, paper, and more, with outputs that can range from small posters to massive billboards. “Meanwhile, Mutoh’s large-format UV printers represent a significant milestone in the field of digital printing, combining state-of-the-art technology with environmental consciousness. This year, visitors can drop in on the D&K to see the Neptune B3 fully automated laminating system, with the company set to run live demonstrations of the solutions throughout the show. “Compact, robust and easy to operate, the Neptune is designed specifically for short-run digital print and can run at speeds of up to 15m/ min,” says Karen Turner, managing director of D&K, adding: “It’s an ideal solution for businesses looking to bring high-quality lamination in-house. “The event provides a valuable opportunity to meet customers face to face, demonstrate our latest technology, and support the UK industry.
