Take it to the printMAX in Birmingham Large-format print specialist printMAX will exhibit at The Sign Show – co-located with The Print Show – this autumn, with plans in place to showcase technology from several leading manufacturers. printMAX previously exhibited at The Print Show, and after taking some time away from the show, will be back at the NEC this autumn, seeking to capitalise on an increasing demand for wide- and large-format print technology. Loctaed on Stand S205 near the front of The Sign Show, printMAX will showcase machines from both Roland DG and Mimaki. Among these will be the Roland TrueVIS AG-640, which will be having its first outing at a large-scale event in theUK. Previewed at the FESPA Global Print Expo earlier this year, the Roland TrueVIS AG-640 is a 1.62m latex printer/cutter that the manufacturer says is designed to combine high-quality production printing with integrated contour cutting. Using Roland’s new TA2 latex inks, including CMYK, orange, red and white, the new machine delivers a wide colour gamut across applications including signage, vehicle graphics, window graphics, and displays. Among its features is the ability to print and cut in a single workflow. “We’ll be bringing a balanced mix of the latest and greatest technology from Roland DG and Mimaki, offering visitors UV flatbed solutions and a range of rollto-roll options,” says Vicky Jarman, marketing manager at printMAX, who adds: “All solutions on offer will be the latest evolution of technology available in the market.” Along with the bespoke demonstration opportunities, printMAX says visitors to its stand will receive “honest, impartial advice” from its team. This, Jarman says, allows the company to recommend the right solution for the business, considering all factors rather than pushing a single solution. “We’ll have exclusive offers, finance options, application suggestions and expert advice to help maximise a print room’s ROI,” she says, adding: “We’re genuinely excited to be back and look forward to welcoming both familiar faces and first-time visitors to the stand.” As to why printMAX chose 2026 as its comeback year to the show, Jarman says that with the market evolved significantly in recent years, and with The Print Show and The Sign Show continuing to grow, it felt like “the right time” for printMAX to return to Birmingham. “As ever with our exhibition appearances, our main goal is to offer our impartial insights and advice to visitors considering their options in the large-format and flatbed markets,” Jarman explains, continuing: “Whether they’re looking to expand their existing print capabilities, diversify into new applications, or invest in their first professional system, we want to help them understand what’s possible. “We also see the exhibition as an opportunity to reconnect with long-standing customers, meet new businesses and demonstrate the level of service and support that has become synonymous with printMAX.” Practical solutions from OKI Europe OKI Europe will focus on “practical, application-led solutions” on its stand at The Print Show this autumn, with visitors able to view live demonstrations of several machines. Highlights include the PLAVI ES9542R (OKI printer + DPR winder), a compact A3+ label press, as well as the Pro1050 label printer, the new C651 A4 colour printer, and its Pro9 devices for packaging and graphic arts applications. Live demonstrations on Stand P220 will cover roll-to-roll label production, CMYK+WHITE printing, short-run packaging, and creative graphic arts applications across paper, synthetic, and specialist media. In addition, visitors can discover OKI’s Pro10 Series inline printing technology, which enables variable information, colour, and personalisation to be added directly within production lines. “Our main goal is to develop new relationships with resellers, print service providers and end customers looking to expand into profitable specialist applications,” a spokesperson from OKI says. “Most importantly, we want visitors to arrive with a production challenge or business idea and leave with a clearer understanding of how they could turn it into a viable print application.” CPS to show ‘widest line-up to date’ China Print Supplies (CPS) will return to The Print Show and The Sign Show this year on a larger stand, with managing director Scott Clutton pledging to showcase the supplier’s “widest line-up” of solutions to date. Highlights on the CPS stand include the GZ HB18UV Pro Hybrid, the GZ Thunderjet AQ1084s, and a brand-new GZ1602 eco-solvent machine. Also being demonstrated are the Sinocolor FB0906s with camera, the Dlican Rotary and 3325 flatbed, the Hapond double sided printer, and the Kartech GK1625 and GK2530 cutters. CPS is running an exclusive pre-show machinery offer for all products on its stand.
